Sporting
Dog It's peace of mind for you and your
best friend. Sporting Dog™ First Aid Kit for Dogs is a
reliable product for your most reliable hunting buddy. This
essential first aid kit for sporting dogs, dogs that are out in the
wild, includes all the necessary emergency stabilization first aid
items as well as an approach to emergency first aid for the dog
owner. The rugged, water resistant bag is perfect for the hunt,
field trails, competition or field. Veterinarian approved. Be
prepared, your dog is counting on you. This kit may save your dog's
life, and it will take care of all those nicks and cuts that occur
after a long days hunt. Buy one, give one to a friend. Where did
SPORTING DOG™ First Aid Kit for Dogs come from? This rugged
first aid kit was inspired by my golden retriever, Ryan. He is my
hunting partner, frisbee retriever and running partner. Years ago,
Ryan cut a deep gash in his paw. I bandaged him as best as I could,
and drove him to the veterinarian. Following treatment, I asked the
vet where I could get a first aid kit for Ryan. To my surprise I
found there weren't any adequate kits available. We created
Sporting Dog for those of us who care about the well-being of our
active and athletic dogs. It's intended for use in the fields and
streams where immediate first aid is often not available. Case

EMT GEL

EMT GEL

EMT™ Gel
is designed to enhance the body's own natural healing process. The
collagen in EMT Gel interacts with the wound at every stage to
reduce pain and promote healing. When your animal is injured, the
first requirement of wound treatment is to stop bleeding. EMT Gel
works with the blood to form a plug and encourages natural blood
clot formation. Inflammation is the second stage of injury.
Treatment of your animal's wound at this stage requires that
drainage be controlled and blood flow increased. EMT Gel absorbs
the fluids generated by inflammation and provides the proper
environment for healing to commence. During the next stage, it is
important to eliminate factors which can interfere with the healing
process such as infection. EMT Gel removes bacteria and debris as
it absorbs wound fluids. EMT Gel also forms a barrier which
protects the wound from bacterial invasion as well as keeping the
wound moist. With infection avoided and the wound protected, your
animal's damaged flesh will begin to regenerate. EMT Gel provides
nutritive protein directly to the wound site as well as providing a
cellular matrix for new cell growth. Once damaged tissue has
regenerated it must be strengthened to withstand the stress of
movement. EMT Gel continues to provide a protective barrier during
this stage of your animal's healing process. This barrier maintains
optimum temperature and moisture conditions and prevents
contamination of the wound. Tissue remodeling is accelerated and
scarring is minimized. An effective wound dressing depends on many
factors: 1. Method of delivery. 2. Conformation to wound site. 3.
Being chemically active rather than inert. 4. Adherence to wound
site. 5. Minimization of the pooling of fluids between the tissue
and dressing. 6. Protection against mechanical insult; thermal and
bacterial change. 7. Provides a favorable environment a. stops
bleeding b. cleans wound, removes bacteria and debris by
absorption. c. provides environment for new cell growth and
formulation of granulation tissue - collagen is the matrix for new
cell growth. 8. Biodegradable in the wound site. EMT Gel is able to
promote rapid-healing because: Collagen is a fibrous protein found
in the connective tissue of muscles, skin, bone, ligaments and
cartilage. Type I collagen is the most abundant protein found in
the body at approximately 90%. When an injury occurs, a wound
results, whether chronic (having along duration with slow
progression) or acute (with sudden onset and lasting a short time),
a wound needs more than time to heal properly. Logically, if we
manage the wound site with a product that is indigenous to the
body, successful wound healing should take place. EMT™ Gel
supplies nutritive protein directly to the wound site and is 60%
Type I collagen - a natural solution! EMT™ Gel reduces pain,
minimizes scarring and helps the wound stop
bleeding.

Same
active ingredient as the gel -- natural medical hydrolysate Type 1
collagen (say that five times really fast). Collagen provides the
matrix for new cell growth by acting as a tissue adhesive,
preventing infection and reducing scarring. The spray adds Bitrex,
a bitter agent that will discourage Fido from licking the wound or
irritation. Great for hot spots, abrasions, pad injuries and more.
One-fluid-ounce spray bottle. Made in USA.
